The molten salt is a mixture of potassium nitrate (KNO3), sodium nitrite (NaNO2) and sodium nitrate (NaNO3). The powdered molten salt is heated above 142℃ in the heat carrier furnace, make sure the molten salt recycling in the melt flow state, and the maximum operating temperature up to 450℃.
The molten salt furnace use coal, oil, gas as fuel, and takes the molten salt as heat medium. A circulating pump is used to create liquid-phase circulation of liquid molten salt, then the thermal energy will be transmitted to the heat using equipment.
